TERRAZZO FLOORS

USING THE OLD RECIPE, WE CREATE CAST TERRAZZO FLOORS
THAT CAPTURE MODERN DESIGN TRENDS

Terrazzo floors are back. Daring combinations of materials are what KOURASANIT’s terrazzo floors are all about, offering an unsurpassed result every time. Colourful cobbles and crushed aggregates of varied grain sizes are mixed with coloured hydraulic mortars, hydrated lime and non-alkaline cement to create high quality, great looking floors. A very impressive result is also created in terrazzo floors that not only contain aggregates, but also processed glass in different grain sizes. KOURASANIT’s terrazzo floors are suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces and ideal for places with a high footfall like hotels, shops and so on.

The range of impressive shades available as well as the irregular patterns that emerge in terrazzo floors inspire architects to come up with creative and original designs.  Terrazzo floors can be  applied on a lightweight concrete footing giving the impression of an uninterrupted  floor with the pebbles and terrazzo chippings (usually ranging from 4cm to 7cm depending on use) evenly distributed throughout the entire mix.
